On Wednesday,(28/09/22) a team from Year 3 and Year 4 took part in the Gravesham Schools Highland Games festival at Cobham Hall School.
The teams took part in a series of activities loosely based on the traditional Scottish Highland Games, from welly wanging and the caber toss to the kilty dash and the Highland step! They completed against 12 other teams, worked hard for each other, showed excellent sportsmanship and had lots of fun. The event ended with a tug of war with even Mrs Turner and Mrs Driscoll joining in.
Our Y4 team came away with silver medals which were presented to them in Smiley Assembly today but both teams should be congratulated for representing the school so well and demonstrating our school values of teamwork and perseverance.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
