Hello and welcome to Hedgehogs Class Page. Our class teachers are Mrs Cousins and Mrs Donnell, we are supported each day by Mrs Munn. At lunchtimes we are supported by Mrs Cook. Our classroom is a fun, friendly and engaging environment that is full of enthusiastic learners.
In Hedgehogs we learn through play during our Get Busy Time sessions with engaging activities available inside our classroom and in our garden. All of our Get Busy Times and more formal learning lessons are planned following the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework. As a school, we follow Read Write Inc to learn our letter sounds which will help us to learn to read and write. Termly newsletters are available on our Class Page.
Our cheeky Elf on the Shelf has been up to mischief again! This morning, the children discovered that the Elf left a note jokingly asking them to make him some snowflakes to decorate his little corner. The children were so excited by the idea, and we’ll be taking some time to create beautiful paper snowflakes together in class.
It’s been wonderful to see how much they’re enjoying the Elf’s antics, and it’s a lovely way to bring a bit of festive fun into our learning.
