A fantastic training session with Born2Ride on Wednesday and Friday this week. This is a wonderful initiative allowing the staff to teach all children in our Primary School how to ride a bike using Balance Bikes.
Along with swimming, cycling is considered one of the life skills that can encourage children to adopt healthier habits into their adolescence and retain these into their adult life.
Our aim is for every child to be able to ride a bike by the time they're in Year 2 and the programme will allow us to develop:
⭐️Balance and Coordination
⭐️Agility and Spatial Awareness
⭐️Strength and Flexibility
⭐️Physical Literacy
