Remote Learning and Microsoft Teams

At Higham Primary School, we use Microsoft Teams to support learning both in school and, when required, at home. Through Teams, pupils can access learning activities, communicate with teachers, submit work and receive feedback. Year R families continue to use Tapestry.

Keeping Login Details Safe

Each pupil has been provided with a school email address, username and password. These details are unique to your child and should not be shared with others. Please contact the school office if you require assistance accessing your account. 

Expectations for Pupils

When using Microsoft Teams, pupils should:

  • Be respectful and considerate of others.
  • Use appropriate language at all times.
  • Only post comments related to class learning.
  • Follow the same behaviour expectations that apply in school.
  • Keep personal information private.

Please note pupils have their own username and password for Mathletics, Times Tables Rock Stars, Numbots and Purple Mash. Please contact the school office if you have forgotten this information.

  • Mathletics All children have a username and password for this website. Have a go at the different activities or the Live Mathletics to compete against each other

  • TT Rockstars Fantastic practice of your times tables. What is your Rock Status? All children have a username and password for this website.

  • Numbots Ideal for Key Stage 1. All children should have a username and password. It is the same as their TT Rockstars one.

  • Purple Mash All children have a username and password for this website. Lots of fun learning activities and games are available on this website.

  • BBC Bitesize Lots of different games and learning activities are available here.

  • Oak Academy Lots of different games and learning activities are available here.
