Policies
School policies cover every aspect of school life and will be amended or revised depending upon changes from National Government, Local Authority and local measures.
Some of our most significant policies are listed below for your reference. Whenever a policy is amended / reviewed, it is then ratified by the Full Governing Body before being updated on our website.
Where a historic policy review date is shown, this means that there have been no amendments since the last review and should be considered as current policy.
We have a programme of policy review in place where priority is given to the policies which have the greatest impact on staff, pupils and parents / carers (eg safeguarding, behaviour, SEND, Child Protection). This may mean that some policies are reviewed after their actual review date. The latest policy will remain as current until it is reviewed / amended by the relevant parties and then ratified by the Governing Body.
If you want to know our policy on an area/subject that is not listed please contact the school office at office@higham.kent.sch.uk for more information
