Come and Visit Higham Primary School

We would be delighted to welcome prospective parents and carers to Higham Primary School ahead of their child starting Reception in September 2027.

Children starting Reception in September 2027 will normally have been born between 1st September 2022 and 31st August 2023.

We have three Open Day sessions available:

Tuesday 3rd November 2026 – 1:30pm
Wednesday 4th November 2026 – 6:00pm
Wednesday 11th November 2026 – 1:30pm

Our Open Days are a great opportunity to see Higham Primary School in action. You will be shown around the school by our wonderful year 6 pupils, meet members of our team and find out more about life at Higham. The visit will also include an opportunity to meet and hear from our Headteacher, Mrs Grattan.

Applying for a Reception place for September 2027

Applications are made through Kent County Council's (KCC) Primary Admissions process.

Applications open on Friday 6 November 2026 and close on Friday 15 January 2027.

National Offer Day is Friday 16 April 2027.

Open Day appointments must be booked in advance.

Higham Primary School is a community school and Kent County Council (KCC) is the admission authority.

The school's Published Admission Number (PAN) is 30, meaning that up to 30 children are normally admitted into Reception each year.
