Gads Hill Friendly Festival
On Wednesday afternoon (2nd October), a mixed team of Y5 boys and girls walked up to Gads Hill School to take part in a friendly festival against several other local schools. They played five matches and worked hard as a team, scoring several great goals and Oliver making some fantastic saves in goal. They got to have tasty treats afterwards too!! Well done to all our pupils who represented Higham so well
Gravesham Schools Football Tournament
On Saturday 28th September, a team of seven boys from y5 and Y6 took part in the Gravesham Schools football tournament held at Riverview School. The boys played really well against several other local schools showing excellent skill and sportsmanship. They came second overall which is a fantastic achievement and were only pipped to the post by Shorne School. Congratulations to Jack, Christopher, Vinnie, Toby, Stanley, Braydon and Oliver.
Inter-House Kurling Competition for Key Stage 2. Play leaders have gone down to help to do the scoring. There will be a winning house for each class and overall champion for the key stage. More photos to follow next week.
