Hi parents, staff and children, Mrs Chandler here. Just wanted to add a short note to Mr W's blog. The children are having a fantastic time and doing themselves, you and Higham proud - so far! It has been a pleasure to see friendships in action, supporting and caring for each other, as well as seeing lovely moments where the quieter characters in the class really begin to shine! I have been Group 3's leader and their attitude and efforts are fantastic. They have all tried everything - even when they've felt nervous, which is all I ask. Special shout out to Olivia who climbed the highest out of everyone at the Jacobs ladder challenge and Macy and Joshua who really challenged themselves. James and Will also get a special mention for falling in the lake in canoeing! I will add some more info later on this week but rest assured, the children are happy and well fed!
Hi to all parents Mrs Munn here , so far so good !! Giant swing today , well done to Savannah who was a good friend to cleo when the going got tough at the top !!!! Raft building this afternoon , well done to all my group , everyone had a go and worked well as a team . Weather is lovely and sunny and the food is going down a treat π
Hi parents, again just to say the children are having a fab time, great to see the children have the extra courage to have a go at things they thought they would find really challenging, or had previously even thought they would never attempt. Exceeding expectations is how some of the children are describing their achievements so far - and that is really magical and great to see. They were all pretty zonked out early tonight. Another full on day tomorrow with a late ish breakfast and for my group at least today, some of the the more challenging activities today!! Should be fun. X
